After identifying the heart rhythm issue, your EP will develop a treatment plan to correct or manage heart rhythm and heart function. The treatment plan may include:
- Medication therapy, to manage heartbeat speed and maintain a normal heart rate
- Cardioversion therapy, to reset your heart rate to normal rate and rhythm
- Cardiac ablation, to block abnormal heartbeats
